The Community Center was built in 1999. It is located on First Street attached to City Hall and Municipal Utilities office. The Center can seat up to 200 people. It has a complete kitchen, big screen TV with a VCR/DVD player, speaker system, parking in the rear and front of the building.
The Center has been rented to host a number of events such as breakfasts, suppers, class reunions, wedding receptions, graduation parties, funeral dinners, and family reunions to name a few. To reserve the Community Center, call 563-926-2181.
In 2011, the City of Hopkinton was granted $1,500 by the Foundation for the Future of Delaware County to purchase a projector and screen for the community center. This greatly enhances the center and meets the needs of people wishing to do presentations. Thank you FFDC!
